Lana Charge (Msc) Recharge Veterinary Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy aims to optimise comfortable and functional movement. This includes post-surgical rehabilitation, injury management and maintaining the mobility of elderly patients or those suffering from arthritis.

Physiotherapy treatment will be provided in the comfort of your own home. An initial assessment will take place and following this Lana will discuss options going forward with you. Included in the initial assessment is a written report and a tailored home exercise programme to help optimise your pets progress between sessions.

 With over 20 years’ experience in the veterinary industry, Paula facilitates our regular practice meetings where we constantly look at ways to grow and develop our knowledge and the care, we offer to you and your pets.

 British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR)

The team at Blackwater Vets work in close collaboration with the BDMLR to assist seals and seal pups found stranded on the beaches of Mersea. Many members of our team have qualified as Marine Mammal Medics.

Our knowledge of seal physiology, first aid and safe rescue techniques allows Blackwater Vets to be a primary lifeline on Mersea Island for the seal colonies off our shores.
