Client/Vet Relationship

The Client/Vet relationship

The importance of developing a practice community where the client/Vet relationship is built on honesty, trust, and respect is core to our values and something we feel strongly about. Therefore we require all pets in your household to be registered with us and we will be your primary veterinary service.

As veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, and veterinary professionals we all work to a strict code of welfare.

We take this responsibility incredibly seriously and as well as the statutory learning requirements each year, we are committed to constantly learning and evolving our knowledge to be able to offer you the best advice for your pet’s welfare. As well as physical needs, we also place a strong emphasis on your pets’ emotional needs as we recognise that both impact quality of life.

Veterinary services are part of the private healthcare sector, and we understand that in the same way that you can choose which doctor/surgeon to see for your own private healthcare needs, you can also do the same for your pet.

Whilst the decisions made are first and foremost based on animal health and welfare, we must recognise the need to balance what treatments may be necessary or appropriate against the circumstances and wishes of the client. This is why we strive to build a trusting relationship with our clients to provide the best medical care possible.
